23 - The End
The program has given a glimpse into some of the many 2.0 tools out there. It's a reminder that there are so many things to keep track of (and so many passwords!). The many ways to retrieve/communicate information and the many formats that the information comes in will keep things interesting for library staff into the future...
19 -My Pet (Substitute)
22 - web based communication
I have checked out the Meebo web page, looked at skypes overview and key features, and used MSN Messenger.
Instant messaging could be used for distance or off campus library patrons and questions.

17-18 Delicious & library 2.0
Delicious is a great idea. The idea of having bookmarks that you can access from any computer is great. As someone who uses at least 5 different computers throughout the week I can see the benefits of Delicious.
2.0 tools allow for a range of ways for storing, sharing and retrieving information. Its going to require time and dedication to keep up with the constantly changing tools and technology!

16 igoogle
I have created an igoogle home page and added the following gadgets: Map search, book search, facebook, docs, spreadsheet & wikipedia.
It can be handy to have many applications/gadgets in the one spot.

14-15 google docs/book search/scholar
I have created a document on googledocs. Not sure about the security of these documents.
In google books I searched for The Missing Manual by Sarah Milstein. There weren't any 'full view' copies.
I have also checked out google scholar.

12 - facebook / myspace
I've looked at libraries using facebook and I have joined up on facebook under 'street scenes'. I've added the libraries australia application to my profile. I can see that it's a useful way to keep in contact.
RSS feeds and blogs (9, 10, 11)
I have set up a google reader to keep up to date with news and info. I have subscribed to digg and Celebrity gossip juicy celebrity rumors Hollywood gossip blog from Perez Hilton. Also the librarycrunch blog found through google blog search.
